What is Apple CarPlay?
Apple CarPlay lets you use compatible iPhone apps through your vehicle display, including navigation, music, calls and messages. Most of the systems we supply also support Android Auto for Android devices.
Will Apple CarPlay work with my car?
We support a wide range of vehicles, both with and without factory screens. Send us your registration or the make, model and year and we can confirm the available options.
Is the installation completely reversible?
In most cases, yes. Some vehicles may require lasting modifications. Certain BMW E90 installations, for example, can require dashboard trimming, while other vehicles may need small holes for cable routing. Any required modifications can be discussed before the installation.
Will I keep my steering wheel controls and factory features?
In most cases, yes. We aim to retain steering wheel controls, factory audio, parking sensors, cameras and other original functions wherever the vehicle and system support them.
Is the system wired or wireless?
Both options are available depending on the vehicle and system fitted. Some units support both wired and wireless connections.
How long does installation take?
Depending on the vehicle, installation can take around 30 minutes to 2 hours. The time depends on the fitting method and whether the vehicle requires modifications such as dashboard trimming or original loom splicing.
Can I still use my original radio and Bluetooth?
Factory functions are retained wherever possible, so the original radio, Bluetooth and vehicle menus can usually continue to be used alongside the upgrade.
Will the installation affect my vehicle warranty?
Our installations are designed to integrate cleanly with the vehicle. Manufacturer warranty implications can vary by vehicle and modification, so let us know if this is a concern before booking.
